Well, not too much cake...but occasionally there are tasty trimmings to be devoured (and funnily enough visitors seem to know when to turn up too!)
Not usually a purple fan, but I really like this cake too...was for a friend of a friend, hope she didn't mind all the flowers, plain just isn't my thing! The purple is a match to her bridesmaids.

The first time Eden knew the inside of the cake was a rainbow too! And a party caterpillar waiting to say hi. Eden was sleeptalking one night last week and I asked her "what would you find in a fairy cave?" Big pause then she answered "a caterpillar waiting for a party"...of course she has no recollection of telling me that! 
After cake, onto decorating cupcakes to take home...Eden's idea 
Then after almost all the tired kids had gone home (3 extras stayed all day!) Aunty Kate, Uncle Mike and baby Sophie arrived...lots of cuddles! 
Then Daddy went off to work and Mummy went out to dinner and Nannie had the "fun" of putting hyped-up excited kids to bed! (Sorry Mum, wont do that again!!)
