Lachie Riding Stuff

Lachie had a go at the Dirt Bike Club this afternoon - we may have a new hobby!And then continued to ride stuff all afternoon (I had a cake to make!)

Been trying to upload the video, but it's not happening right now. It's Lachie zooming round the deck on his ezyroller, dodging furniture and toys then zooming down the ramp onto the path and onto the driveway...looks like fun, and must have been as he did it dozens of times!

And you've got to try new things, right?

Lily's Last Day...

...at kindy as a three-year old!

We had Lily's "kindy party" early so Lachie could come...first though, Lily and I made cupcakes on Thursday (Lily designed these!)

Back to kindy on Monday as a four-year old!

January Fun

Rearranging the front lawn (without a digger like last time) - everyone except me feeling strong!We "made" Lachie a climbing tree - actually, Mike went a little crazy on the pruning! But Lachie's super happy!

Honey had to find a new shady hiding place (but has since found that under the deck's her favourite) Lachie hammering the last nail into the the deck flooring - more to go still until it's totally finished...

After yet another trip to the hospital for her ears (I say "we're going to the hospital to say hi to Carol" now) - here's her new fascination - being up high!

All my kids are baby-mad (just like their mother!). Here's Lachie with Jayden, who's 3 weeks old and came for dinner last night (with the rest of his family). Jayden may be sick of the paparazzi already!

Lachie's Sunflower

Lachie was given a couple of seeds at school a few months ago. His nasturtion grew pretty fast and here's the full glory of his sunflower.

It also sprouted a small one off the bottom which is still in a vase in the bathroom. He plans to keep ALL the seeds to grow that many new ones next year!

Black Barn Amphitheatre

Had a great night out at Black Barn, watching "Earth" under the stars at the amphitheatre. One more movie we'd really like to see, but it's on a "school night" as Mike goes back to work on Monday...we'll have to see.

P.S. These are phone photos; my camera might have died (probably 'cos it knew it was Christmas and it must have been feeling really rejected with me taking no photos! Maybe it's just taking a holiday of it's own accord - fingers crossed!)

Deck Progress

Slow, hot, but very precise progress on our latest project...
