Daddy's in charge

I had a meeting this morning, so Mike was in charge of the kids...a trip to the park on the bikes (and backpack)...

then a picnic lunch at the river - not the pears and bananas I packed, but instead McDonald's (sigh...)

After we dropped Mike off at the bus there was nothing better to do in Waipuk than get out the waterslide!

Still, exhausted kids tonight, just as well as Mike's gone out with some mates, driving little cars....

Nannie and Grand-da bought new bikes (and helmets) and Nannie needed Lachie to "teach" her how to ride her bike! Here they are after a few lessons...

Early Morning Trip to the Park

Well, Mike's on days this week, Monday to Saturday. Without his "help" we were so early for music that we walked (in the wind), went the long way and even stopped off at the park for a while...how did we ever manage with Daddy "helping"?!

Followed by morning tea in town then a visit to the Plunket nurse - just to be told Eden's lovely...we all know that!

Solo Mum - Out For Dinner!

Yes, the kids and I went out for dinner to a friends place with a whole lot of Eden's friends (who are all first babies, and boys!)

This is before obviously (after looked very sleepy!), probably wasn't the most relaxing Friday night (all I drank was energy drinks!), still, bet we had more fun than the huge breakdown Mike's dealing with at work!

Bath Time

Not that you can tell, but this is the last bath before the plasterer came...yes, we gave in and actually called a tradesman for help! He had the most amazing piece of sandpaper ever (not something you can fit in your toolbox, let alone your pocket!).

Don't you wonder what "the photographer" is saying to get those kind of expressions???

Here's some interesting stats...

Lachie is nearly 18 kgs,

Lily is nearly 11kgs and Eden's 7kgs

Lily + Eden = Lachie!

(And: Lachie + Lily + Sarah = Mike! - Luckily it's not all of us, ah Mike!)

...Honey's very tolerant!

Then there's jumping - wont be long till she's wanting to go on the trampoline by herself!

...and the favourite for ages...TOES!!! If she rolls over and didn't mean to, she gets upset becasue she can't get her toes!
