Before the game

A few shots while we were getting ready for the rugby...
We sat in the new Graeme Lowe stand this time, for a change. It was nice, but not quite the fun of the Rodney Green stand (and our "usual" seats!). And $120 vs $40...will stick to the cheap seats!
Only two more home games left (although we haven't ruled out a trip to Rotorua this Friday!), both on Thursday's before the semi-finals start. And I'm having a VERY exciting week...details later!

Dancing Girls

Eden joined in with dancing class this week, she's hoping to start next term (but she knows all the routines etc. already...funny that!)
Spot the short ones!

Eden can not only skip with a skipping rope, but she can also do the other kind of skipping tooSo much fun!

Daffodil Picnic

Went back out to the daffodils for a picnic with Lisa, Keith, Fin and Stirling, not too many daffodils left now, but couldn't resist taking abother bunch of photos (and nice to have other subjects for a change!)
(there's 18 months between Stirling and Eden)
And of course there was a cake involved!

Great company, great food (not just my cooking, Lisa's too!), beautiful weather...

Magpies Very Convincing Win!

Lachie's friend Connor turned 7 on Friday and they all went to Laser Force for his party. They had a great time! (Cooper, the girls and I had a "dinner date" with Daddy - fish n chips at Takapau 'cos he was at work). Then we had Connor for the weekend to take him to his first rugby game (when Lachie first asked him his reply was a very excited "YES, but I don't like watching rugby, but YES!") He was excited about seeing the cheerleaders anyway! He got a digital camera from his parents for his birthday so the day was spent taking photos...this led to all my kids wanting (to share) their camera a the rugby. Basically if Lily's in it, then Lachie took it, and if Lachie's in it then Lily took it - the rest are just a guess to who gets credit!

(This is the reason Lachie was nursing a kid-hangover the next morning!)
So after 2 late nights, it's no wonder all 4 kids are fast asleep early tonight!
And a great win! We gave the tickets we won (to the new stand) to Alana and Tom so we could have our usual spots. Another game next Saturday, should be good against Manawatu, with a parade of rugby greats (HB ones) starting at 5pm.

Went out for a Sunday morning walk/bike ride. The kids learning about electric fences. This one was on, but not too "hurting"Some very friendly horses
Lachie checking out what was in the caves (only because Honey went first!)

Summer's going to be hot!

Jolly Jumping

It's taken us (Mike!) 2 weeks to find the jolly jumper...and he found some other useful baby stuff (that we'd forgotten we even had!). Anyway Cooper loved his first bungy...couldn't pick my favourite face though!

Many many more hours of this to come! And he happily spent time outside today, hiding around the corner from the welding work (really exciting project coming!!!!) and "helping" in the vege garden - roll on summer!

Park Stop

My favourite shots from the park on our way home after the blossom parade in Hastings
And Mike picked a VERY close score for the Magpies vs North Harbour game, he picked 35-18 and the actual score was 34-17 (maybe he'll win a corporate box for next weekends game!)

It's Spring!

The annual obligatory daffodil photo shoot 2009
And mostly of Daddy and the kids because it is Fathers Day
To show all the crowds - yeah right! (We were lucky today!)
This is sooooo typical!
Some fun posy shots...
Lily did the flower arranging when we got home
I was watching Cooper (who needed to burp) from the other side of the room (hense no smiles) - Mike's sure he's a ginga, not really, only in some lights and in photos...no doubt someone will tell me who he looks like here!
And just for Daddy...
Obviously these (and all my) photos are better at 7/8mp rather than the tiny ones that download super-fast on here...sorry for the pixelations...
