Lachie and I spent the morning building...still not finished though, wait til you see it!
We went to the Blossom Parade in Hastings.
Started with lunch, then lollipops from a street stall...

It was a great parade, about an hours worth. Eden loved it all! Lily didn't like the really noisy things (like bands!) but enjoyed all the clowns and kids wandering past. Lachie thought the unicycles were the best, 2 schools had heaps of kids riding them (with ease!) - just waiting for him to ask for one for Christmas!Then Mike stayed home and babysat (that is, slept! - even set his alarm for the rugby!) while I went out with friends (and came second in the quiz - mmmm wine and chocolate!), got home just as the rugby started, so woke Lachie and Lily to watch it with us - at least there were lots of tries to keep everyone awake!
