Happy Birthday Eden!

Our little baby is now 2! She's been waiting for her birthday for ages, singing to herself any chance she gets...
Opening presents with Lachie and Lily not too far away if she needed help!
This might be the favourite present (the dress that is, not the big sister!)
Bird bath for her "Garden of Eden" from Nannie and Grand-da...
Filling it up...
Waiting for birdies to have a bath...still waiting!
Out for dinner (no way is she taking that dress off!)
Great day, waiting for her party tomorrow...

Holiday's catch-up

Thought I'd better let you know that we didn't do nothing for the holidays, didn't go away except on day trips (now we've decided we 'have' to go away next change we get!)...I didn't take too many photos (believe it or not!) - here's a few 'events':
Cutting the "Grass Head's" hair...the new lawn almost needs cutting too! (Did you hear that Rae, MORE GRASS too!)
Doing the hair...
A "Hi-5 trampoline disco" after our trip to Fantasy Cave (Lily organised this trip, just like they did for kindy not too long ago!)Painting...
Lachie having a cruisy ride with Honey doing all the work...
Princess Fairies...
(I'm sure there's more of these somewhere, will have a look and add)
Eden trying on Lachie's Magpies jersey (surprised she's allowed, he hardly takes it off!)
Rock climbing...
Eden monkey can do anything!
And summer has arrived! (Please tell my tomatoes that!)
Lily enjoying the sprinkler...

Most of the other stuff was at home and around town...or at the rugby. Not going to Christchurch this weekend (although Lily and her Kindy teacher reckon they are!!), hanging out to find out if we can make it to the finals...and fingers crossed it's in Welly!

Big Day Out (And Night)

Lachie enjoyed playing with some Magpies at the Big Day Out at Park Island, brushing up on his rugby skills...
And learning hockey skills with a couple of Black Sticks The girls and I had fun with the "fishies" at the Aquarium - Eden learnt the names for every creature! Bit of shopping, then we joined Lachie and Daddy for the last hour, but the girls found a lovely black friend! Lachie with his new replica jersey...ready for the final round for the Magpies
Which of course they won, quite outstandingly! We sat in front of a bus load of young Bay of Plenty kids - made for a great atmosphere (would have been such a bummer to lose though!). After the game the players signed autographs - here's a few...
Even Lachie signed his own autograph!
Couple of tired girls by the end!
All ready for next weeks home semi! (And then the final the week after - might have to plan Eden's birthday party around that!)

Morning in the Pool

While Eden had her "holiday-day" with Nannie while Grand-da's away, we went to Napier for the day - including an Ocean Spa. Lachie wasn't that happy as he's still not allowed to get his ears wet, Lily on the other hand, owned the pools!

Followed by a play at the park and a scooter ride with Daddy (while I did groceries, yay)
