We spent most of the day in Dannevirke, visiting Fantasy Cave with Ron and Emily and some other friends, then tearing round the duck pond. And after such a busy few weeks the girls fell asleep on the way home and were in fine for form the carol singing! Lachie helped me make "Subway wraps" for our picnic dinner!

We took the backpack, which we haven't used since the rugby season ended, so had by default, Magpie hats and pompoms...which didn't go to waste (neither did the can of lift+ I also found in the bottom of the bag!)
Cooper stayed awake til the last half an hour then slept solidly through the fireworks!
