Four kids for two months now - easy! and so cute.
Rugby this weekend! (Both Lachie and the Magpies that is, maybe Lily too? And maybe a bit of hockey too?)
(The bathroom was warmer than the camera)
And one just 'cos it's Maori Language Week

Cooper's Christening

Cake: yes, everything's edible (what it all means: "Cooper" means a barrel or tub maker... Cooper loves bathtime best...and sleeps really well all night...and his tummy bubbles lots... there are stars all over his and Lachie's room)
Godparents Simon and Biddy did a great job
Cooper with Nannie and Grand-da
LOTS of yummy treats for afternoon tea (yes, I will give out my cheesecake recipe, and the lemon tart too!)
Lachie took this one!

Thanks to all our very special friends and family that joined Cooper and us! And Simon's off to Helsinki in a couple of days, see you next year! Have fun (and do some study!)

Very exciting week!

Firstly Lachie went back to school, he was really looking forward to it (I miss the holidays though!)
THEN on Tuesday Lily started swimming lessons - she's had to wait soooo long until she grew tall enough to reach the bottom of the pool! Showing off
THEN Eden started Kindy on Wednesday! We had a quick trip to Hastings on Monday so she could choose a bag and lunchbox (Hi-5 won) as it's an even bigger deal for her than the others as she hasn't been to any daycare before.
And because she's gone since she was born, she knows everyone and feels right at home!
And at morning tea time Cooper and I headed to Hastings for some shopping (which was boring with only a baby, might have to change shopping day now!) And speaking of the baby...he's great, up to 4.5kgs now and full of smiles and choked up laughs. Cooper sleeps longer than me at night, can't seem to keep him up past 9pm, Mike doesn't make enough noise to wake him at 3.30 (so Mike's been getting a few extra zzz's), I get up at 6am and don't wake him til 6.30, he sleeps while I have a shower and get lunches etc ready (Lachie does breakfast!) then I wake him again at 8 to get a feed into him before we leave for school (and Playcentre/Kindy/etc). After that though the ball's pretty much in his court!
He still loves the bath...just as well because here's a sneak preview of the top of his Christening cake (for this Sunday afternoon)Sorry it's blurry, hopefully Sunday's photos wont be!

Riversdale

We had a great time at Riversdale with Amanda, Ron, Emily and Luke...left home in extreme weather warning wind but that didn't stop us! We even enjoyed some sunhine at the beach!
Luke getting to know Eden.
("Borrowed" this one of Luke and Eden from Amanda's facebook set!)
Chilling outTrip one to the beach
And "borrowed" these ones too (Mike never takes photos of me!)
Cooper was pretty comfy and toasty!
Lachie and Emily braving the water
Lily loved falling down - she insisted on wearing shorts to the beach...I insisted on her wearing merino tights as well!
Playing "Mum and Dad" with Luke
All three girls hitching a ride back for chocolate cake!

And the plug: very lovely bach for hire in Riversdale - anytime of the year!

For a Marshmellow

Bought three huge photo frames (cos I quite like photos if you didn't know!) so I've been taking some new shots to fill them with...
You get great posy photos when a marshmellow's at stake!

Smiles All Round...

...when Daddy took the kids swimming - can't wait til Cooper can swim too, he loves the water! (And I wont be stuck on the sidelines only taking photos!)
