...for some hungry ducks! Mike took us on a " shopping adventure" after a hard-out morning in the garden!
No ducks were hungry in Palmy, just a few little cuties doing their poses...
And they also enjoyed the run around...

And a dog that really wanted to play with the ducks! Found some on the way home though...and a perfect time for a dinner stop!
No wonder I keep getting asked if they're twins!

Lachie's new trick (not the dancing, he's been doing that forever!)
Lachie can do five and a half...how many can you do?!?!

Congrats to Adelie and Alfonz and Heike - it was so cute, Heike was given a "wedding ring" as well, and he carried (then destroyed as boys do) a bunch of red roses!.

Dress-up day at Music for the end of term - theme: Nursery Rhymes.
Here's This Little Piggy (probably going wee wee wee wee all the way home, judging by how she's been feeling last few weeks!)And rowing the boat with Daddy...(who wouldn't dress up!) And Lily's been looking forward to being Incy Wincy almost all term!
Doing a spider walk...
And up the front with Lenda (teddy) doing her signature dance with us all joining in...
And that means it's nearly the school/kindy holidays - I can't wait! Didn't count last holidays as we had three days of cleaning, packing and tree planting before heading to Sydney, which wasn't exactly a relaxing holiday!

...to the aunties, uncles and cousins (especially Xavier!) that couldn't make it down for the Magpies vs Mooloos game - or was it that you didn't want to be part of the third loss in a row to HB in Napier??
Actually chose her own facepaint!
Lachie with his new trackies from Nannie (his present while in hospital!)
Hope you can see his face paint!
Lily making a fashion statement in spots for a change... All ready to go...
As we drove into Napier, Lily started asking if she could "go crazy" yet...she did as soon as we got out of the car!
She's actually looking at a group of 8-9 year old boys behind us - her "audience"
And catching up with Nannie and Grand-da (and Grand-da's new jacket - minus the beak and eyes!) and Eddie and Gill after the game...just beofre heading out for ice cream sundaes to celebrate the win.

I bought another great piece of art at the kindy art auction (still enjoying the Jules Clarke painting I bought earlier in the year!). This time it was a Lily Simmons original - called something like "Going to the forest for a teddy bears picnic"
Thankfully it didn't cost me as much as the last auction...this was a bargain at $20! I believe she's taking orders at the moment...

Found this cool tree - definitely needed photos with kids up in it! I love how they're such posers!
Some great action shots of Lachie! And a couple of princesses...
And we finished off with a "bear hunt"
And...if you have nothing to do on Friday night, kindy's having an Art Auction, check out some of the items on: www.hunterparkkindergarten.blogspot.com
