Rest of August

Cooper's 3 months old! Full of smiles and chuckles; he still has the odd bout of seemingly endless crying (that always stops eventually and hardly ever happens in public!). Last night he slept for 14 hours, then slept for 3 while we went for a walk this morning. Either he's trying really hard to grow out of the newborn clothes, or he's making up for the past three months! Either way, yay!
And yes, that's his thumb in his mouth...how did that happen?! Haven't had one of those before!
A happy spring daffodil cake. Lisa's birthday was the excuse, but when you show up nearer to dinner time than afternoon tea time and I completely forget to serve it and then serve it for dessert because the kids invite ALL the neighbours for dinner (which was a really great idea thanks kids!) then I get another chance to make you another one!!! And it was Phillip's birthday too so that's ok.
A man wanted to take a photo for us...Lily played shy...
We went early to watch Onga Onga school big kids play the curtain-raiser. Lachie was a wee bit put out that it was the bigger "tackle" kids that were invited to play his "rippa" rugby!
Mike caught Lachie a ball! I chose NOT to catch a big one heading right for me because I was carrying Cooper!

Cooper was woken by all the cheering!
A pretty unhappy chappy (at least his hearing's better than Eden's was!)
And my score picks won another two free tickets to the next home game (unfortunately we need more seats and MIKE DIDN'T WIN EVEN THOUGH HE THOUGHT HE SHOULD (not that I'm rubbing it in or anything!)

Realised I didn't have a decent photo of Mike and the kids...
And Lily's friends still come and visit the house she made them.
The girls and their sleeping habits continue to crack us up...every night we get a bit of a giggle at how they've ended up...they've never woken up complaining about eachother though! Wait til Eden's birthday (the deadline) for their new bed structure!
Wonder what Lily was dreaming about this night...
But sometimes in the morning when I show them photos they have absolutely no explaination whatsoever!
