With the rain due this week we decided to start harvesting the potatoes a few days earlier...turns out it's so much fun!
Eden loved the tractor, and waved at Jahman everytime he drove past (his broken leg was a great excuse to stay in the air-conditioned cab!). Lily joined us after her Christmas Party in town, Lachie was meant to after school (last visit this year), but it had started raining quite heavily by then.

Lily carried around a little bucket and picked up really small ones that I cooked for tea...
Eden did like them, even though here she doesn't look too fussed!
We're bagging them up on Friday so will hopefully have a price fixed by then. Until then, you can order and pay whatever you want! (it's a fundraiser)
They're totally spray free and being sold in biodegradable bags (up to 5 kilos) and 5 kilos in reusable nonwoven polypropylene bags - I'll take a stab and say $25 for 5 kilos...???
We can deliver to friends/family in Wellington for Christmas! (i.e. late Christmas Eve)
Saturday we're off to Palmy to sell them at the very early starting market (might not even be worth Mike going to bed at 3am after work!)
