Lily helped make jam at Kindy. It became dessert that night...made with love by Lily!
And Lachie and Eden said she can make dessert anytime!

I have totally lost my voice - (goes with the ear/throat/chest infection I suppose) so I sent Mike and the kids out to play in the rain without me!

One of my best buys form the weekend...pretty sure Maxwell Williams doesn't make kids toys, so these are probably for some kind of fancy coffee (not an expert here!) but they are perfect for tea parties! Eden getting in a bit of practice while Lachie and Lily are out...Wonder if it's enough of a caffine fix for Mike?

Since Eden was sick last Tuesday, the girls couldn't have their swim while Lachie was having his lesson, so a catch-up swim was necessary! And a bonus Daddy to ride on too!

and "m" for motorbikes and "m" for mirrors and "m" for museum (Te Manawa in the Manawatu!)...so that was our day...
Lachie was in hysterics!
Lily, you are tall!
Do they need to be made any shorter??
Through the secret passage and out the wardrobe door...
We cool day, exhausted kids! (Must have been the shopping!)
Happy Mothers' Day everyone!

And it couldn't have been a colder morning! Well, it probably could be and will be, but at least there was sun!
New rugby jersey's (with long sleeves!) was a nice surprise! And they won the game too, but thankfully (due to the cold) it was a real running game! Then home for a hot shower and a hot lunch...Daddy reading the latest favourite books in front of the cosy warm fire! (Eden's become the biggest Hairy Maclary fan lately, and Lily's memorised all the books!)
Then some helpers before going to see Nannie for 'Nannie's Day' - proclaimed by Lachie(After Eden wrote her name she then wanted to do some flowers stuck her sleeve in Lily's name). Yummy feijoa cake!

We had to take Lachie to the doctors this morning, so went to the Farmers Market as well. We bought some fresh fish for lunch (among other things, such a tasty place!); the fish man gave Lachie a crab, along with instructions for how his MUM had to cook it (there's a reason I haven't cooked crab before!). Eden was both excited and worried about it wanting to eat her...as soon as we got inside though she wanted it put in the fish tank! Lily was just excited in general!
Here's our super independent two and a half year old...she can do ANYTHING!
