We figured it would be hard to have 4 action-packed days in Taupo (no relaxing on this holiday!) so a day in Rotorua was planned. First stop - Paradise Valley. Feeding the first few pools of trout was exciting, but luckily there were other attractions too!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixgSaQi946bynFTAzdHTfz5LKE84fTUF2K-aYpvyPYz2JcGkbjxbQpPWCZZjBVWQzEbrOHSTg7PbVlXPRhz3uqF5aDwWx1-vYmFcN86GGJNO2JHjy3S-TH_UcinQznYU-5_T69rJtJP14/s320/IMG_5839_1_1.JPG)

+Including all the attractions of a farm, sheep (baa baa black sheep at the top of Lily's voice!), goats, donkey, alpacas, birds, bit hard to explain the wallabies though - fun to feed!![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpcCgesvyVshaq65j8tPh03NGagY6tyg5dkb_dtQspnFk86JahU4Q-3hxBTsw5OZ9nisb9FhUFTd5dTrMW_OZrxtLD6p4kDlssEJlUdGoRvFv32pOHGxoZrt7f_6SxheIzZVXcxdZep34/s320/IMG_5857_3_1.JPG)
The main lion park was a bit inactive - hot sunny day and all - lying in the sun would have been a good idea!
