Daffodils in September

It was our first trip to Taniwha, the daffodil farm for the month...was still wet and muddy but (by going prepared!) actually added to the fun of it! Beautiful weather and boisterous kids! Even Cooper walked most of the way around. Back the following day with kindy - a bit of rain stopped me getting my camera out, but it soon went away and we all dried out and the teachers got plenty of photos!
If you haven't been...GO! (We'll come too, Lachie and Lily are hanging out for their turn!)
P.S. Lisa, can't guarantee a daffodil cake!

Magpies vs Waikato

More rugby photos...counting down to the Taranaki game when Lachie gets to run the ball on the field - he's VERY excited!
Cooper loves the atmosphere, and the flags!
Facepaint, as I only have Mooloo tattoos - they needed a cross through them!
Abi and family came for a walk...yes she's tall, not quite the giant she looks here though! (At just 5 she's the same size as Lachie)

Pom poms came out!
At a trip to Wellignton next weekend, and plans are underway for a wee trip to Auckland in a few weeks too ☺

Cupcakes for miles!

Ok, so it all started years ago probably...Lily's always asked if kindy can do a trip to our house (not exciting for anyone but her!) and Eden's carried on the ask, adding "for a teaparty" to the same question. Last week when I told Eden about the kindy trip to Cefyn Gauden's art studio and that they'd be driving past our house...yes, it started again! So I made the offer...cupcakes at the Simmons' house on the way back to kindy! And as usual I went a bit overboard (but got to take a varied range of photos!) Here are some....

Lots of happy kindy kids! (Eden's in the middle in green, by the bucket)

And because Cathie came to visit too, I literally whipped up these toppers for the tops of some spare cupcakes for Sereena and friends as I couldn't go out tonight (nightshift *sigh*) Have a few more things to show...but will have to wait til next week ☺

Happy birthday for tomorrow Xavier and Simon ♥

Best friends

Cooper's got such a giggle on him! I really need to get a video of him, but he's so contagious that once he starts, neither of us can stop!

Cooper also loves to cuddle Honey; usually she's in the mood, but sometimes she just sits there and puts up with him! She has to I suppose, he's really good at sharing his crackers! Yes he loks ginger, no he's not really!

And yes Honey's still being weird...but she does seem to know when an earthquakes coming - reminds me of Bindy.
*
Big hugs to everyone in Christchurch, Mosgiel and Morven XXX

Can't wait to show you the icing bits I've been doing too! And right now my table's half covered in naked cupcakes...tomorrow's going to be fun, almost as much fun as Eden's planned for Friday!

Hi Sophie!

Firstly was Mike and the kids' Father's Day breakfast...designed by Masterchef Lachie based on a McDonald's ad on tv (probabaly during Masterchef!)..and we're so excited to find organic bacon at our local "Old World" supermarket (private joke, do the locals get it???)
AND super exciting was Sophie and Mike and Kate visiting for the weekend...she's so yummy! All the kids love her; but Cooper was asleep by the time I got out my camera though.
So cute! And super-easy to take photos of!
Come and visit ANYTIME! (Although we'll see you in a few weeks - wearing your black and whites too!)
